Last Oct. 21, nagkuhanan na ng grades slip. Some shouted for joy, some remain smiling though they were disappointed. Ako? So thankful that my God had mercy on me kaya hayun hindi naman masyadong bumaba grades. But I know I don't deserve what I got. All of it was just because of Divine Intervention, trust me.
My previous sem was so fulfilling, diffficult but fulfilling. Mabigat kasi ang mga subject ngayon, mahihirap yung mga majors ko. Add to that my 7to 7 schedule. However, everything was a blessing in disguise. I grew a lot, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. I also developed deep bonds with my classmates:Tin, Judy, Anni, Nel, Ron and the rest of the barkada. Iba kasi itong sem na ito from the previous year. This sem kasi marami heartaches, trials and pain but together we surpassed them ALL. Kaya grabe talaga yung nabuong bonding samin.
Kahapon, naman something shocked us. Christine, my dear friend was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Disease, cancer of the lymph nodes. Grabeh, me and ron were so worried and sad yesterday. EMO kami. Di ko ma-explain ang feeeling kasi first time ko maka-encounter ng ganung scenario. But as always, God proved Himself faithful. Akala kasi namin hindi na siya makakapagsecond sem however due to her dramatic prowess and our prayers eh pumayag naman ang father dear ni tin na ituloy ang studies niya. Kaya ang concern na lang namin for now is her total healing from her illness.
God is so GOOD talaga!
Ngayon, everything seems back to normal and by Monday mag-eenrol na kami ng second sem. Sana makakuha kami ng magandang schedule para hindi na kami masyadong pressured sa review. And sana sama-sama pa rin kami.
For now, I want to live life as it is! Ngayon pa na nakita ko na LIFE IS INDEED SO SHORT BUT LONG ENOUGH TO BE ENJOYED! At syempre kasama si God at ang mga taong malapit sa puso ko.
Sabi nga ni kath, minsan nakakatakot talaga ang sobrang tawa kasi mamaya-maya iiyak ka. May point nga siya.
Haay, paano ba naman. Ang saya-saya ko nung Monday kahit stress sa school, ka-bonding ko naman mga classmates ko so happy pa rin.

Todo sumbong talaga ako sa kanya. Kinomfort niya na lang ako by saying na nung prelims ganun din ang experience niya. So hayun, pagkatapos ng pagkahaba-habang pila, NAKAKUHA RIN AKO NG PERMIT. Mga 11:00 na ko nakakuha kasi nag-brown out! Magdiwang naman diba?!
Pero blessing in disguise na rin siguro yun dahil ang daming pinakita sa akin ni Lord. Mga true to life experiences ng mga tao-tao sa paligid. Tulad ng isang nanay na umiiiyak dahil walang pambayad ng tuition, mga istudyanteng hirap kumuha ng permit kasi may financial shortage. It made me realize na kahit mahirap ang mag-aral at madalas nakakatamad, still swerte ako kasi nakakapag-aral ako.
Pinakita rin sa akin ni Lord ang importance ng friends (thanks May-Ann) and family (thanks ate Joms) sa buhay. Kaya nga I'm so grateful eh.
Hindi rin siguro totoo na kapag masaya ka, mamaya iiyak ka na. Nasa tao naman pala yun. It depends on how you will view your situation. Kasi minsan kahit gaano kasaklap ang pangayayari basta't positive ang outlook mo and you will trust God, everything will be alright!
